a. Less bones (butchers) being given to dogs as their diets are now wet food and kibble… so no calcium…. Which is WHITE

Was strangely thinking about this the other day as this was common place on my walk to school back then.
Suppose people are clearing the shit up. Also, back then dogs had the run of the place often seen out on their own, meeting up with ‘their mates’ over fields etc.

My great hate as a dog owne,r who religiously picks up her shit, are the people that also pick up their dogs shit, and then hang the bag on a branch, or drop it on the side of the road.

Persuaded a neighbours son in the early 70's (he was about 4, me 6) that white dog shit was ok to eat, but no other colour.

Well back in the 70's a main diet of dogs was giving them old butchers bones.... so high in calcium... now it's all wet food and kibble... hence the lack of white dog poos
